Little more progress on my 5.56 DMR build. Magpul PRS lite stock and a 20rnd steel mag. Eventually a proper scope will go on.

Something to consider

 

20" vs 11.5"

 

Fact

 

Slowly getting my AR’s finished out, 11.5 is done, 13.9 needs a better light and possibly a bipod, 16” is getting a free float system and LPVO and suppressor compatible muzzle device. 6.8 SPC (top) just needs a lower.

Man, I love the Daniel Defense stuff. My very first AR builds used DD Lite rails.

I've use DD, Troy, YHM, BCM, KAC, and recently a PSA rail that was included with the kit I bought, but my most recent went back to YHM, simply because their rails are designed to fit over their suppressors.

Did this brace bill hit the register today?

 

Not that I’m aware of. I did d hear a couple folks say the seperate form 1 thing to e register with is functional although idk why you’d do that until it’s published

 

I checked the register didnt see it I dont have any skin in this game....

 

Will existing pistols be considered actual SBR’s after they’re registered, or will they be classified as something different?

 

Awesome pieces, especially the 2nd rifle. I’m thinking of starting a Frankenstein M4 for ranch use using the DD Omega rail unless I can find a decently priced KAC RIS or Ras.

 

SBR’s they are wanting you to register your braces pistols as such. There are other options offered as well like destroying it, turning it in, or removing the brace and making it so it can’t be reinstalled.

 

I feel like they’re doing that with the diversified machine letters as well.

 

If this is intentionally setup as a trap, why were imports excluded?

According to the new rule imported pistols with braces are illegal.

 

I heard about that. If this whole thing doesn't get stopped, that'd be a huge shame. There's a lot of nice imported pistols.
