I've always assumed it was EDM'd or something. You can barely see this coolant holes in this thing..

my high pressure pump is hardly high pressure enough to pump it through them..

Seeing as we are showing our Jeeps.

    KIMG2865.jpg

The truck is a full size Jeep Gladiator, many people don't know Jeep built full size trucks.

    KIMG2866.jpg

    Dual rear wheels too.

I got this stand from a hospital auction about 25 years ago.

All the way down is 28", all the way up is 44". After taking the wheels apart, cleaning the axles and some chain lube it rolls again.

Damn, I like the stand that 3-pt auger is on. I might have to try building one of those. Trying to move mine around is always a finger-smashing time.

I’m having some custom flared endmills made to test out an idea I have for hardmilling knife bevels.

Man those are some nice surface finishes. I can’t wait to see how my new machine does. My little tormach leaves a garbage finish.

Did you drill the thumb grooves too or mill them?

Have considered milling them? Might save you some drill bits... either way it's faster than hand filing them for sure.

I might. They are 1/16” diameter and the stock is 0.195 thick. A lot of it was bad feeds and speeds on my part.

I had one of them! It’s missing the ladders for the sides… they hang on the hooks.

    Steps 1, 2 and 3 finally done.

Step 4 looks less than entertaining.

Those are all plastic trim pieces.

And none of them are numbered in the boxes.

Played hooky from work yesterday to go skiing with my daughters school. Was a great time and beautiful weather. This was from the summit where the winds have been around 60-70 for the past week. Was about 19 degrees all day but zero wind.
