Headlight Dimness

My headlights are horrible. I’m thinking about replacing them with LED bulbs or something that provides better output. Has anyone ever done this or have any recommendations for a first generation Tacoma? Thanks!

 

Get some brighter bulbs and maybe an upgraded harness and call it good. If you have a lift of some sort, make sure to realign your headlights. Don't go blinding other folks on the road with some crappy LEDs in a halogen housing

the principles apply to first gen as swell

the thinnest LED is still about 30% wider than a good H4 lamp's filament
so it's like a pin hole camera with a 30% larger hole

 

Welcome to the forum. We hope you realize that LED bulbs will be a massive downgrade in output in focus, making your headlights worse not better.
