I have a 2011 Tacoma Sport with a V6. I've noticed once in a while when it shifts from first to second the computer will cut power (a slight hesitation occurs) but no slipping felt. Could this be normal and i never noticed before? Or a weak shift solenoid. There are no codes, fluid level, and condition is good?

Does it flare or just do nothing for a slight second?

Not much you can do until it’s more pronounced, usually with my experience its a solenoid but typically it triggers a code. When did you change/ check fluid last?
