My mom has some hearing aids that use the tiny gold batteries. These batteries are the rechargeable kind. The people that service them claim they no longer make theses batteries. They are also trying to sell her some more hearing aids coincidentally. Mom could afford to buy the newer ones but it’ll be hard on her to get by till they are paid off. Does anybody know of the gold batteries I’m writing about and where I could get them? Thanks!

The ones in box are the ones they gave her that aren’t rechargeable. The ones in bag I don’t have the number for them. The box ones were included in picture so someone would have reference to the size of battery…

so would the gold ones be a rechargeable 312?

Do you know the name brand of the hearing aids?
My research says the 312 rechargeable batteries fog most hearing aids. But NOT Oticon.
I don’t why, but I’ve seen a few sites say they were not compatible with Oticon?

312 is the size I would guess the gold color denotes "rechargeable" I have Oticons.

Maybe it's these batteries? A quick Google search turned up with these and looks like the company known as zpower recently had some financial issues and shut down some production or something yada yada yada and are now rebranded to riot energy but still selling the same gold battery. The Amazon reviews for that same battery show some people saying no issues with their oticon devices. Just throwing it out there

    this is the charger.
I think these are probably the ones! Daughter in-law was talking to my mom when I came over to Moms house and something she found said that some 312’s don’t work with Z Power charger. No sure of that but the above link use to be Z Power…. Not sure but ticks me off that if there is other batteries even cheaper than ones above that they didn’t inform her of that. When I get some of these I’m gonna give them a call and tell them a thing or two.

Disregard my post above, as those don’t work with Z-Power changing stations.

sweet! Yeah so those folks that service the hearing aides seemed to just be misinformed as the company has rebranded but are still producing the z power batteries. Just one of those things like hearing FUD at the local gun store. The company also sells them on Amazon for $70 each so definitely pricey but it seems to be what folks say work with their oticon devices which I'm guessing your mother has as evidenced by the oticon sticker on the z power charger.

If anything, I'd order a pair off amazon as they have a pretty lenient return policy and make sure they work just as good as the old ones.
