    Hello everyone,
My first thread on the forum!:bananadance:
Looking for the wisdom/help of the crowd.
I have just bought a 2020 Tacoma TRD off road that was originally sold in the USA and then imported abroad (where I live). It came with the original tire size 265/70-16. I would like to increase the tire size to 265/75-16 , but since this model is not regularly imported to my country, the authorities say I can fit any tire size as long as it is approved by Toyota. I've emailed Toyota but they say they can't recommend changing the original tire size. I find this to be strange as I didn't ask for recommendation, but rather an approval. Anyways , I'm lost here, since I do not want to do anything illegal.:help:
I need some sort of document with Toyoa Logo on it that says it's OK to fit 265/75-16 in the Tacoma.
Anyone have an idea what should I do ?
    Thanks in advance

COSTCO told me they would not install tires larger than 3% above max stock. So they wouldn’t go to 265/70-17 from the stock 265/65-17’s

Currently: I bought 255/80-17’s online and Firestone installed them.

Guys I know what's legal in my country (Israel). I need some sort of Toyota dealership or garage to say its OK to install 265/75-16. I know it's OK , but I need them to say it in order to get the approvals where I live.
I will be willing to pay the person who can help, for his time and trouble helping me.
    Thanks

I’m betting if it’s not on the door sticker as an option your chances of getting anyone associated with Toyota to put in writing is zero.
