    I'm sure someone here can tell me what this fork-looking thing is attached to the differential case of my 2001 PreRunner Double Cab. Hopefully it's not real important because it doesn't seem to be doing anything and I couldn't find it on the diagrams on parts.toyota.com.

    Looks like a bent bracket for the parking brake cable equalizer.

    It's been in
    Yep, it's pretty dry and salt-free here in the Phoenix area, where the truck has been since 2005! Paint looks like crap though. :).
