So after a few days of looking/obsessing I have come up with this combo to upgrade from my factory unit in my '11 DC.

My main wants are better sound and louder than factory, bluetooth and iPhone control.

As cool as I think a DVD reciver would be and as nice as I think Double DIN looks I would take better sound over both of those any day.

Only thing I saw in other units that I think I would like is the processing of digital files to make them sound the best. though if I do research I may find this can be done with software before I put on my iPhone.

    Budget $500 or less.

    Head Unit

    Power Pack

    Front Door Speakers

I really like the idea of the power pack as I get more power w/o additional locating an amp or modification and speaker wire running. I really do think that will be enough power for me.

Also, I figure I can upgrade the rear door speakers later if I find I need to.

Any thoughts and opinions are welcome.

Thats very close to the set up I have: Alpine CDA-105, KTP445 power pack, and kicker ks door speakers. I love the set up but I was starting to look at a doubble din dvd touch screen HU. I would give you a good deal if you wanted to buy the HU, power pack, metra dash kit and the prewired radio wiring harness. It would be a super easy install since everything would be plug and play. If you are interesed shoot me a PM and you would have more $ for your door speakers :)

Thought I'd get a few more opinions than that. But I won't beg. haha

But I am looking around more...not totally set on the CDE103BT. Wondering if the CDA105 is worth buying it and the Bluetooth module separately. Will I hear much difference in sound quality between the two? I realize the CDA105 gives more control over settings, is there anything else inherit to it that makes the sound quality better?
