I noticed that the vent closest to the window on the driver’s side got louder after a warranty repair to fix a leaking ac housing.

are they normally loud and raspy when set to high heat and floor and defrost?

i wouldn’t normally worry about this, but the dealership did a shit job putting everything back together (scratched the a-piller, didn’t Fasten the trip properly, and forgot to plug the drive indicator light back in) so now I’m thinking of what else they screwed up.
    Thanks for any help!

    Oh look, another mod....
You answered your own question: The dealership screwed up putting it back together. Take it back to them and make them do it correctly, and have them repair what they damaged.

    Yeah you’re right.

it’s just so frustrating dealing with those goons though. It’s like they fix one thing and break two others.

my truck has 17k miles and I’ve been going back and forth with them for a few months now just to get that warranty repair.

I recommend (if you have this as an option) going to another dealership. Even if it's further away... If a dealership has excellent service reviews, I'll drive the extra miles because I know it'll be done right and a pleasant experience.

Don't go to the nearest dealership JUST because they're close to you.
