They've been in there since the truck was new, but they don't get much use. I disabled the DRL's so as not to be tickling the relay for the SS5's all the time. Truth be told, I'm probably going to pull them out and put them in my SIL's Hummer since there's no need for them now.

Thanks to everyone for the advise, hopefully have stuff coming in for
the truck. Will see how it all works out. A picture of the use at your own
risk state highway sign. And just 21 miles down this road is the entrance
for a major national park. Another 40 after that and there is a ranch house
where there may be a landline. Only cell on top of big hills.

Yup, you definitely need additional lighting. Trust me on the DD SS5's, you won't regret the purchase!

Apparently, there's been a few questions as to which lenses I have in my SS5's. While it's true that I started out with Fogs, I immediately swapped in Driving optics, but settled on the Spot optic as the best for my needs. Here's a few pics to prove it.

You could probably use these for stripping paint.

My SS5 and harness came in from hotshot offroad ( memario1214 ) The harness is
the best I have ever seen. I would buy one to use even on some other lights.
I did find a three way switch ( on--offoon ) from anytime backup camera and
will use that since it fits in an empty spot. The DD harness also give you a
different pigtail if you want to use a different switch/power.

Please consider adding a couple of pics of the actual connectors (sides and faces) on the harness, also.

I have two switches like that, one for my DD SSc3 aux high beams and the other for my SSc2 reverse lights.

Me? Low switches the aux high beam on independently.

And high does what? On with high beam? So “auto”?

Yes, three way switch, on with high beam/off/on as off road lights

Yep it's a very nice way to be able to use the same set of lights in different scenarios, all using one relay and switch. Reminds me that I need to finish my new aux mounts, I haven't had my SS3s on the truck since the new headlights went in.

Cool. I would be super stoked with a switch that actually said ON, OFF, AUTO. High vs low doesn’t work for my brain :)

I suppose you might be able to get custom screen prints? Don't know how that process goes. I got my SPDT switches from here: https://www.anytimebackupcamera.com/collections/switches

That is the diagram and link to switch you gave me for wiring in my lights. Thanks again.

I agree. And my wife needs to easily be able to see what the switches do. High and low also would not work

Strawberry (1575m) and Paulson (1535m) Passes in the Kootenays of BC around midnight last night, -7C, compact snow, well sanded, patchy rolling dense fog.

Was switching between high beam with DD SSC3 Pro 4k aux high beam and low beam with DD SSC3 Pro fogs. I was able to maintain 60kmh to 95kmh most of the way.

    Good lighting works.
