Hey @Talon2006 , trying to finish installing engine skid plate (already have Cat plate from Talons Garage). I don't think the mounting screws are correct? See pics.
There is nothing in the transmission cross member to thread the screws in.
Unless I'm missing something :D. I love your catalytic converter and engine skids btw. Great quality. I'm just a bit lost with the engine skid install (the second part). I got the front piece installed without a problem.

Looks right. Long bolts go through the top and use the nylon lock nuts to hold it up. You will likely need to drop the cat plate to install them.

Sounds good, so essentially use larger washers from the top and then nylon lock nuts to keep long bolts in place? Otherwise they will just fall through those large holes.

My wife made a way back Wednesday post that I wanted to share here. It was the support of several of you that helped us grow, and stop scratching my wife’s floor and walls! It’s also cool be reminded how much nicer our plates are now, vs when I was still cutting them on a cnc plasma, and using a hand sander to finish them.

Also, feel free to check out our Facebook page! AC38ABC2-65ED-403F-AAB4-FC0BF663DE47.jpg

Happy new years everyone! My wife just personally loaded up and dropped off the last couple of packages for 2022 to FedEx to be shipped.

We didn’t want anyone to wait an extra day to get their package!

Many of you may of noticed we are out of stock on a lot of stuff. Had a catastrophic failure of the laser last week and have spent many long nights getting it up and running again.

Well after a long long week, we are back up and running, and will have stuff back in stock soon!!!

A huge shout out to Gary @ Ramsey Laser press brake. This man with with me several nights as late as 2 am working on the laser and getting it back up and running. Super glad to have bought from him. I have posted the laser install video before here, but figured I would repost it for you guys. Go blow up his channel with some likes and views.

About a year ago when this first started I surprised my wife with a forklift as a present when she was out of town. She wasn’t super impressed.

This year I surprised her with a larger powder coat oven and booth for V day! She was super happy this time! My how the times have changed!

Would you happen to know if your 3rd gen front skid plate is compatible with the arb recovery point? Also do you have plans to make a front steel skid for the 3rd gen offroad?

I am not sure, looking at pictures, maybe... I couldn't find the angle I wanted to. Do you have one on your truck?

We plan to make everything in steel eventually. We are just slowly working down the line. I just got a new powder coat oven that much larger so once that is up and running it will likely come.

Let me know if you want a double cab long bed 4x4 to scan as well. I can bring it over when I come back to let you check the fit on the 4runner.

I'm looking to get one of your Cat shields. Your website doesn't ship to Canada is this Correct? I emailed you but got no response.

    @Talon2006

For any one reading this i did end up getting ahold of Isaac @ Talons Garage and ordered the 2023 DC 4x4 shield. There were very accommodating with getting Shipping to Canada. Appreciate the great service!
