2016 SR5 2.7L Taco: oem Toyota 7/4pin trailer lights

    Hello all,

    I'm trying to get the oem Toyota 7/4pin trailer light plug/housing installed in the location next to the rear licence plate. My truck does not have a tow package because 4 cylinder engine.

    My local Toyota dealer's sub-contractor for all things electrical is convinced that none of the oem Toyota enclosed 7pin/4pin housings fit my 2016 SR5.

    However, when I do my own research, I find that part PT72534140 seems to fit 2016 2.7L Tacomas? This: https://parts.stevinsontoyotawest.c...rnesses-and-Adapters/69525820/PT72534140.html

    Do any 2TR-FE 2016 Tacoma owners here have the oem 7/4pin housing installed? And if so, what was your part number?

    Any help would be appreciated, Toyota seems to have no idea what fits and doesn't fit on their vehicles.
