Hi everyone! I guess Im the new guy for the moment. Just ordered a 2023 TRD OR MT Access cab. Expected date is mid April. I've been wanting something manual, normal sized and isn't a crew cab for a while now. This truck seems to check all of the boxes. I'm also a first time Tacoma owner, or will be once it comes in. The Toyota truck line is legendary and I'm looking forward to enjoying the reliability. I have a 2016 Chevy 2500hd 6.0 gas truck. It's been flawless but incredibly thirsty. I don't need a 3/4 ton truck anymore or a 1/2 ton for that matter. Chevy trucks have been my thing for years but the lack of options, crew cab or nothing, no manual trans and this engine stop start business drives me crazy. This forum seems to be a great place to browse lots of interesting topics and looks to be really helpful on mods and repairs, love it! I do all my own maintenance and service on all my vehicles so related info really helps! Rebuilding old motorcycles, tractors and machine tools is my hobby. I have a 77 KZ650 I totally rebuilt with my son, a 2000 Yamaha Vmax, a 1985 Yamaha Maxim X 750, an old Kubota b5100e operable but in process of restoration and a 1955 South bend heavy 10 lathe. Looking at the accumulator mod thread, it just might be an easy mod to do if I dislike the clutch feel. Looking forward to joining in on the conversations and helping out when I can. Thanks for having me!
