2TR-FE / 2.7L Magnuson Supercharger system w/ Stage 3 Snow water/meth

***Update***
Well I got a call from the vendor asking me some questions about the supercharger. I told the vendors GM that I always wanted to LS swap the 07 Tacoma. He said he wished I wouldn’t have done that and I said I was sorry but it is my truck. They are now wanting the supercharger so I’m now pulling the supercharger from the market. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The truck is in SunSet, TX. North of Fort Worth, TX. The gentleman has pulled the engine and system to make room for the LS. And as much as the system is, it will have to be packed in a few boxes. Please contact me if you are serious and look closely at the photos below as I tried to make the system look factory as possible, down to using the OEM windshield washer water tank to hold the mixture. The kit in the link at the bottom I purchased and I then had to buy more braided hoses, many fittings and parts like this single piece that the kit/s do not come with.

Plus I paid $629 for the kit below and now look at what they are asking…
There are no instructions to install the supercharger.

The photo above is where the pump is & if you look you can see the blue fitting.

The Snow gauge/controller in the factory coin box is for adjusting the water/meth system. It is hot glued into the coin box so you will be getting the box and the windshield washer tank.
Also Guys I don’t have PayPal anymore so the payment will have to be made another way. Sorry but I’m not here to scam anyone and I need help from members here for the next phase of my build.

Also the gentleman who I’m having install the LS. He has a small YouTube channel showing how to save money on installing LS engines. He takes his time, explains how to diagnose issues and how to fix them. He doesn’t do time lapse. He then cuts to the finish product after he explains. Again he doesn’t time lapse soldering, installing loom, drilling holes, welding, or etc… He has a fresh approach and he an older gentleman that goes slow and is thorough.

GLWS Randy, someone is going to get a nice setup. Do you have any details on the water methanol filter you used here? I like the transparent housing

Robert Thanks buddy it’s this filter in the link. Without your help I’d probably still be siphoning mixture through the system! Now if we all had yours, @Torspd, and a few other’s, skills and abilities we could build our own system! Ladies and Gentlemen now this Gentleman has a DIY system and a few other’s here have the boost setups to dye for‼️

Gays all I can say is the holdup is not the vendors fault!!

There are so many who could benefit from the system as the poor little 2TR needs all the help it can get!
The gentleman above is the only person I know who’s owned the other supercharger system that the blower didn’t self-destruct‼️
Sadly it’s not if but when the Rotax blower will self-destruct. Ask anyone who’s owned a Rotrex.

Man bummer, wish i could buy this but sadly i must use funds for other things in life right now. I need some extra power and would like a system that is reliable as my truck goes on long muti day exploration trips to the middle of nowhere. Still need to do the LCE header and then the HPS intake

 

Rough estimate of the cost of your next power plant? I assume more than 4400 ish? And HP > +100?

$149 for the 04 Corvette accessories these parts are 1.5” closer to the block, I.e. balancer, (PS & alternator that I’m not using), AC compressor.
$190 for CNC brackets to move the alternator below the PS
$125 for the new Gates WP
$1835 for the new Tremec TKX (after selling NOS TKO for $900 more than I paid)
$810 for the twin disc clutch and billet FW
$330 for the aluminum bell housing
Yada Yada Yada = Cheaper than a new 4x4 pro with a stick and more fun too…

 

Man my noise reduction chamber and secondary filter in the airbox has been gone for years. I used the K/N and yes it sucked ass so i went back to stock. Good to know about the CATs!

 

So about 10k ballpark? An EV conversion is definitely more than that. Thanks for some numbers. I’ll ponder on the sidelines.

 

I’m not disinterested. I’ll say that. Just not highly motivated. Seems like significant headache and cost vs other options.

 

I bet a lot of this has to do with the fact that it will require tuning. If you were to offer your haltech/tune and everything else as a kit i bet someone would take you up on it. I am personally waiting to sell my URD kit until i can offer it as a complete setup for this reason. GLWS! Just offering a suggestion, it's definitely a nice setup even without having a tuned ECU with it

 

Want yes but funds are lacking. I would love something like this for my truck but this is way too custom for me. Maybe by the time a kit is offered I'll look into purchasing. I tow our popup and the extra power would awesome! Hope everything with the sale goes well.
