Most better known, or even more expensive torque wrench are +/- 3% target accuracy. The matter is usually if each click is precise, which is different than accuracy. Having good precision as long as the accuracy is close, is far more important to have consistency, and hold its calibration. A better torque wrench will check all these boxes.

Wow! What industry might this be? We use +/- 4% as an acceptable variance.

Still all in my head… but I’m keeping the chrome bumper!
With all this torque talk and +/- 30, can anyone post a pic or a name of an accurate torque wrench they use? I have a manual adjustable Kobalt one from Lowe’s, don’t know how accurate it is. I just installed the crossmembers back on after putting on a MillerCat shied. I thought a torqued them to 35 but after some comments on accuracy here I’m second guessing that.

I’ve watched countless videos on changing spark plugs on the 3rd Gen V6. Videos and tutorials have been extremely helpful but I cannot get to the two remaining plugs on the driver side. In all of the videos and tacoworld forums, there is no mention of the equipment circled in the photo. Is this something that may have been done aftermarket or perhaps a dealer recall?

Looks like a brake line component.

Is this by chance a manual transmission vehicle? I have the same component hook up, that looks to disappear down the transmission tunnel toward the hydraulic clutch.

It is indeed a M/T. Thanks for the assist. Can anyone point me in the direction of a tutorial / thread that addresses getting around the additional components in the M/T version?

Yessir. Checked them once and swapped them once. Just had to loosen that one plenum support. Otherwise, a pretty easy job given the tight access.

You have to remove a little guard/shield to access it. I still have a really hard time getting my grease gun onto the zerk.

    anyone have any tips?

I never remove that. I just rotate the shaft a little. Just have to wriggle it in there.

Can anyone confirm if the 2020 MT OR DC 4WD has grease zerks on the driveshafts or not? I haven't found any but I know they can be hidden from reading replies on here. Thanks
