Anyone who drives a car on a daily basis has the same issue. It's the same with our Tacomas. That front driver's seat gets the most wear and tear, by far, for obvious reasons. Sometimes, being conscious to try to limit the rubbing as you are getting into the truck helps to minimize the eventual damage. Best thing you can do is try to keep that seat clean. Over time, any grit or little debris that builds up in the creases also accelerates the damage if it gets dislodged and is dragged along the surface. The problem is that it takes thousands of times before it becomes very noticeable, so it's overlooked by most.
