No, they completely fit under the bed

 

The number of stupid questions I can generate is, in fact, infinite. But to the point; I thought you had to cut the bed to fit the SUA shock mounts and wondered if, given the reduced travel, these didn't require it.

 

What about those of us who want to remain SOA, but have 14" free bleeds and rear shock towers sitting in boxes. :')

 

I see no reason you couldn’t use the SUA towers and 14” free bleeds with SOA. Then you’re just ready when you decide SOA sucks no matter what you do.

SUA springs are more outboard. So no.

May I ask why you don’t want SUA?

 

The SOA kit is designed around stock length leaf springs and the shock mounts are in a similar location to all the other “aftermarket” shock mounts out there.

If you already have the towers and 14” shocks then I’d mount them in the SUA location as you will eventually go SUA anyways.

 

Wouldn’t the spring pockets be different though? I think he was asking if the braces were the same SOA to SUA

Bite the bullet and order the rest of the SUA stuff.

FWIW, I was one of the ones that was on the fence about losing ground clearance etc. But I do stupid things religiously. So I just pulled the trigger. It transformed my truck entirely. I can’t even put into words how much better it is. The thousands I spent on the SOA stuff is where I went wrong.

It sounds like you were sold on going SUA, not sure what changed your mind along the way. But trust me. It’s worth it.
