Check for loose connector terminals. This could cause resistance issue or volt drop issue causing your concern. You should actually preform a amperage test across the crt with a know good bulb. Compare LH to RH amps. this would verify the complete crt is OK.

OK, thats a good suggestion, I will give that a shot tonight after work. Man im working so hard right now at work seeking answers on Tacomaworld!!! hahahaha The connection is solid when plugged in and the bulb is locked in place with the sping lock. I'm using the standard 9003 bulbs from Napa

Make sure the bulbs are clean. Any fluid including your figures touching them can affect bulb life. Clean them with alchohol. Dry gas works good or like.

    Are you using Sylvania SilverStars?
If so, they have a reputation for not lasting long in these trucks.

@crashnburn80 can probably tell you what bulb he recommends.

Sylvania Silverstars have a very short life and are typically not a good bulb for performance. They have had class action lawsuits over short bulb life and false performance claims. They give you whiter light, but not necessarily that much better. Unfortunately Sylvania has somewhat of a monopoly on the US autoparts stores, so local options are usually only them.

Keep in mind, any performance bulb is going to have a shorter life than a standard bulb, it is the tax paid for the extra performance.

I'd recommend Philips Racing Vision +200s. They will have great low beam improvement and reasonable life. The Silverstars are rated at 150 hours, the Racing Visions at 400 hours, which is exceptionally good for their performance level, which will be much better than Sylvania's. The Racing Visions due have a blue coating over the high beam, like Sylvania, so there is some reduction in high beam output vs stock.
