Hey all, Im down in the albany-lebanon-corvallis area and looking for any recommendations as to where I can go and get the truck a little dirty/muddy that isn't just driving on some of the unpaved roads in the area. Im not looking for anything super technical just some easy driving that may require some use of 4x4.

Sorry if this is a retread of an already asked question!

Both are little ways from you, but have you checked out Brown’s Camp or Elk Lake?

You got to get out to the foresty areas or at the base of mountains. Get out to Tillamook State Forest, Mt Hood National Forest, and Santiam State Forest. Or, just go straight west, out to the coast. Just remember to air down before you get out on the sand.

Oregon has shit everywhere, except for the Corvallis area. Lol. Go out and find some fun, it’s not far.

Some places require an OHV permit, but I’ve never seen it enforced.

Not sure I agree with that. Head West out of Philomath towards Newport. Mary’s Peak area, I’m sure there’s plenty of off pavement to explore. National forest stuff.

But in Corvallis city limits, yeah doubt there is much.

Yeah I can get into the cascades easily, I’m actually in Lebanon. I know a lot of it takes some driving and exploring on my own! Just wanted to see if people have some recs!

Thanks! I’ll have to check out those areas!
