I’m going to put a westcott designs lift kit and an AAL on my trd pro which will add another 1.5” in the front so total 3” over factory and add 1” in the back as well. I’m trying to decide what tire size to get. It’s going to be a 17 inch wheel with either a -12 or -25 offset, rather be -25 because I like the poke. Debating either 33x12.5r17 or 285/70r17 or 285/75r17 or 295/70r17. Fine with a cmc and a little plastic trimming.

I like a 285 70 17 with -12. You can get them in C or D load, low/mid 50s for weight. Tacomas aren’t massively powered so a 33 around 50 to 55lb keeps the mpg and performance up there still.

Would I get better performance out of a 33x12.5 or 295/70

You can check out different tires and their weights on this website. Lighter is better, but almost all are E load, fairly heavy. And
