What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Couple of quickies, Garmin mini dash cam, used the Donger Tech adapter. Super easy and very neat install. Can’t see in from the drivers seat. All wires are behind the mirror. Quality works for me. Got the polarized lens, helps cut the glare for sure. Took the extra base that it comes with the camera and used as FOB hook. Stoked on the new FOB, ordered a second, safety orange.

 

Added half inch of memory foam to the center console for some extra kush
And a new fob.

 

Picked up my new APF Off-road sliders. A local Canadian company who makes great stuff by the looks of it. I haven’t installed yet, it was a 12 hour round trip in a snow storm to get them. I ordered yesterday. Owner of the company reached out and let me know he had a set in stock with power coating I could have for the non power coat prices. Picked it up today. So happy.

Looks really good. Very interested to see these installed.

 

Nothing big, switched out the interior and license plate bulbs. Really didn't think I'd care too much about the interior lighting switch but man it makes a huge difference.

Also, added a center console tray and organizer, glove box organizer, and setup up the home link to open the garage doors.

 

Do you always have a habit of doing the left side of things first? Or did it just happen that way

 

That's about what I'm gettin', with 7,500 on the odo. It goes down to 16.9 mpg on my 13.5-mile commute sometimes when there's a lot of traffic. That's not good at all, for a Toyota Tacoma.

 

They appear to be SCS5s but I could be mistaken...

 

Threw on my demon shackles, used all four washers so they don't swing. Are they supposed to swing loose or not move anybody know?

 

Haha, I didn't even notice I did that. For hockey I always put on the left side then the right. Must just be a habit for everything now.

 

I think the wind at highway speed will push them back. I don't think there is a right or wrong.

 

Upgraded my key fob.
Feels pretty good and not cheap at all.

However the TRD Red color looks more red/saturated in photos. (Just an honest review incase someone was picking one up)

I have the Taco Garage DMM and couldn't be happier with it. I just received my Auxbeam 8 gang switch unit and have been searching for a mounting location for the controller. How was installation of the Taco Garage kit and wire routing? Any input/photos would be appreciated. I do agree with you on Taco Garage customer service. Thanks
