Not that I'll ever own Nike's again but I am generally aware those self lacing Nikes at retail are $7500-10k if they are one of the 1500 created in 2011.

I think I'd prefer a new one made to look like that one though. A lot of vehicles in the staging lane are having the batteries boosted with chargers before they roll across the block. Then there's the old belts, hoses, tires, paint and body imperfections, old brake and fuel systems, ect. Some deals to be had and things you wouldn't find for sale elsewhere, but you really have to know what you're buying.

I'm on my second toolbox because I cracked the first one on the inside corner, jumping my truck on the dirt track. It's held on by two bolts through the plastic mount from Lowes. When I put the bed slide in I needed more room under the toolbox, so I added these aluminum pieces as spacers. The toolbox is still held onto the truck with the same plastic mount. But they also let me get a better mounting surface for the toolbox, so it's less likely to crack again. This one's been like this for five years, and I haven't cracked it yet.

I can speak accurately to this, I make cutting tools for a living, including coolant-thru drills. Carbide is made by pressing a cobalt/tungsten mixture into molds. At that stage it's in it's "green" state. For coolant-thru material, wire is laid in the molds that correlates the the proper diameter coolant hole. For material that is destined to have straight holes, that is the last step before sintering, which hardens the green carbide into its final hardness. For material that is destined to have helical holes, after it comes out of the mold, while still in it's green state, the material is twisted to give the desired helix before sintering. In either case, the wire that was laid in during pressing melts from the high temps required for sintering leaving coolant ducts. When coolant-thru material is purchased the pitch of the holes (which correlates to helix) is provided. This allows the manufacturer of the cutting tool being made to program the helix of the flutes being ground in the tool to match the helix of the coolant holes so as not to grind through them. As someone mentioned, it is possible to EDM drill holes in carbide, but certainly not in a helix. Additionaly, while in the green state, carbide can be readily machined. On the occasion that I have to make a custom tool that an off the shelf carbide blank won't easily accommodate, I can get what is called a pre-form. This is simply a piece of carbide machined to rough specs while green, including any coolant holes that may be needed.
