    Glad that I don't have to work today, or until Saturday for that matter. Just drove to Metrotown... so many unprepared drivers... I love being able to drive around all the Tesla's and Benz's stuck spinning thier tires on slight inclines.

    Burnaby/New West area and we received the same amount. After I got back home after snow wheeling at 3 am I haven't been back out. Daughter was out walking with friends today and she said it was quite quite out. I guess most listened and did't drive if they didn't have to.

    Hwy 33 today, -21C, White out conditions following a snowplow doing 40km/h, with his large amber flashers across the back of his truck just visible, I notice him slowing as he turns on his left turns signal.

    Perfect time for the semi behind me to pull out and try passing. Semi got along side me, my door level with his tanks before he noticed the plow with his signals on. Fortunately he backed out at that point.

    Idjits abound.

    I do well in challenging weather while driving. Years of snow/ice control and plow operation. It’s the other ding dongs out there that are clueless making thing’s scary.

    Mid June last year I smacked a crow with the truck. Broken the head light mounts, cracked the grill surround, damaged the fender and fender trim.

    Lone ICBC shop in town called yesterday to bring it in next week for repairs.

    Six months.

    Looking for shop recommendations for my 1994 toyota pickup preferably in the lower mainland area. It's been sitting for awhile now (was a daily driver before parked) so I want to have the engine gone through. Needs gaskets for sure, clutch work and some other odds and ends. Someone familiar with these trucks. Thoughts?

    Since you are in the S. Delta area, it's pretty clear that a reply from @WormSquirts would be in order as Overland Outfitters in Cloverdale would be a great place for referrals and likely the majority, if not all, of the work.
