    Morning friends!

I posted about a month ago about doing a new audio setup and I did everything minus the 2 3/4in mid ranges in the top corner(actually forgot about them).

I ended up going with Rockford Punch series in the doors, diamond audio dual 8in sub with preloaded enclosure and diamond audio 5-channel amp.

Just looking for a recommendation to what brand someone uses and recommends for swapping out the mid-ranges in the dash. I’ve already pulled the covers off so super easy install, just unsure which way to go since Rockford doesn’t make those that I’ve found.

Hey, many have gone the plug and play route with the subaru kicker tweeters. Pros include high wattage capacity, ease of installation, and price.

There are a few posts that highlight the difficulty of wiring another option without the appropriate adapters.

I personally have the subaru tweeters and think they sound good. They sound even better amplified. If you're looking for quick cheap and easy, they might be a good option. If you're willing to spend more and do a little extra work, there are better options available. One I've considered myself is the ks series 2 3/4 kicker option, but I wonder if it'd be worth the extra money/effort.

    Hope this helps.

This actually helps a lot, thank you! You have had no problems with the Subaru kicker tweeters taking an amp, correct? I see that crutchfield gives you the wiring with but I prefer easy.

Yeah subaru tweeters make themselves much more noticable amped vs stock power. I hope you enjoy your purchase!

I appreciate the quick suggestion and opinion! The rest of my system crushes but I actually had to fade to the rear a bit because the OEM ones in the dash begin cracking within minutes of finishing the install. With the fade I don't get the cracking but I cannot stand having to do that and not enjoy the music after everything.
