I'm not exactly new but am only on here sporadically. I have a touch over 50 post but can't post in the For Sale forum because I don't have 50 posts "of substance". What is the definition of that?

    Thanks :D

I would assume it means posts that contribute in some way, like answer questions or give advice.

It seems you only have 38 posts according to the forum.

Looking at your post history you're lucky to have 38.

Guns, food, songs, and games dominate.

Nothing wrong with any of that, but not sure how they are 'of substance' on a truck form.

    But that's just me.

It has to do with where you post.
Posts in certain forums don’t count.
For instance, any post in the “New member section” don’t count.
You can reply and post 1000x and none count.

If you stick around long enough, you’ll figure out what sub-forums don’t count.

Emoji lifting. Feels like enough substance to me. Just in case though my guess is they want two emojis lifting in all your posts. IDK :notsure:

The "spirit of the law" is that the forum gods don't want this place to be another craigslist. If the regulars want to trade as a small part of the larger enthusiasm for the site, cool. If people want to sign up for the explicit purpose of trading, not cool.

Be a regular. Meet people. Enjoy all things Tacoma. Or just post your shit to Facebook marketplace. Chances are it'll get more traffic there anyway. (Not exaggerating. I, like many others, don't trade with people on here unless we have a history.) Your choice, we'd welcome you either way.
