Hey look; I just liked the car and stopped to take pictures. If you look closely, you will see my truck NOT parked in a handicap spot.

 

We’re living in a society where everyone is now ‘handicapped’ in one way or another…

 

Yeah, true that. But until the mentally, political, over sensitive, or whatever may be bothering you today handicapped signs get posted, respect the true handicap spots. when I give you a dirty look for pulling your Range Rover in a handicap spot with no tags, I shouldn't expect “But I’m only going to be a minute” said back.

 

I agree. Its a shame the true handicapped can't park in the spots designated for them. It irritates me to see perfectly healthy people use those spots "just to run inside for a minute". Hopefully those people will get pay back at some point. Sorry, my rant is over.

I did ours and our daughters a day or so ago. Ours is much easier with the mortgage paid off. There's not enough $ in itemized deductions to use over the standard deduction, even with the charities we donate to. My daughter's is like yours: w-2, standard deduction.

I get irked by people misusing handicap spots too. It's right up there with guys who drop their women off at the store then idle their diesel dually right out front for 20 minutes waiting for them to come back out.

OTOH there are some places where there are 4 zillion handicap spots, all empty. The parking area at my old place of work had a dozen spaces, none of them ever taken. About the only place I see all of the handicap spaces filled is WalMart, where I also see a lot of otherwise healthy looking people using them.
