Can someone give me information on wiring a toggle switch to the clutch for theft prevention. Would like to add switch in hidden location in cab. 2021 6 speed.

    Thanks

Can you clarify the question? You are trying to make a diy anti theft switch somehow tied into the use of the clutch? Not sure how that would work. The truck doesn’t need the clutch to run…

I assume the rationale is in order to send the power to the starter solenoid, to start the engine, on a manual, you either have to use the Clutch Cancel switch or depress the clutch pedal to activate the clutch switch.

If add a third switch to disable both the Clutch Cancel and the Clutch switch, there is no easy way to start the engine(still can push roll/dump clutch in gear).

That's exactly why and In the Plains,

Yes, I had read somewhere about tapping into the clutch cancel switch wires to add a toggle switch to disable starting, i.e. yes a DIY hidden anti theft toggle switch. I wondered if this is a practicable approach and if so, how to do it. Thanks
