Not quite today, but tried to go mountain biking recently and for some reason I was the only one in the lot. Had to help someone get unstuck on the way out. The trail didn't look much better.

Installed my Miller cat Cat Guard that has been sitting in my garage since last September......hardest part was lining up the forward security bolt holes with the skid still installed.

 

Thanks. It’s a 3” lift but i guess the pro is about 1” taller than the other tacomas so i only gained 2”? Tires are 285/70-17.

Installed a Rok-Block tailgate gap guard. I don’t plan on removing my tailgate at anytime but frequently get debris, stones, ect wedged in here.


Next, finished up the buttons on my Meso V1 key fob (now my spare) and my V2 key fob.

Were the before and after photos taken teh same time? its hard to compare because the after photo seems to have exposure a bit higher (you can tell by the sky)

Got some new tires finally. Had the original set. Almost got 3 years and a little over 93,000 miles on the Goodyear Wrangler All Terrain Adventure. Went with the Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac.

 

I have the same mod done, it's cheap, easy, and it honestly does make a substantial difference. I too was pretty shocked at the difference in the pictures, but I can say from experience that it really is much better when driving at night

 

You can purchase unbranded milk crates at your local Home Depot/Lowe's/Tractor supply for between $7 and $15.

 

With the hardware and rails, and maybe an offer to help them install it, you could get a lot more. The hard cover is only available from the factory and/or port; you can't buy it from the parts department. For reference, I paid about $875 for a BakFlip MX4. The downside to the MX4 is you lower the bed rails a bit and it doesn't say Tacoma on it. The upside is it sits flush with the bed and folds all the way up to the cab. I don't know if the OEM one lets you close the cover w/ the tailgate closed. So you have an item that is OEM and hard to find (more $) but has lots of competition with some additional features (fewer $). Good luck; I would have bought it 4 months ago if you were local to me.

 

Put some L-Track rails on my bed box.
Just waiting on my HDPE for the underside of the box and then it will be ready for adventures.

 

Decided to widen the drain holes in the bed. Upgraded to a 1/2” hole. Make sure to use a drill stop collar when doing this on the driver’s side.
