New to me Tacoma

Hey all,

Just got a 2015 Tacoma after my 20 year old Silverado with 250,000 miles has been plagued with electrical issues and has been a no start for over 6 weeks. Shop(s) cant figure it out and she's still not running.

I never used my Silverado to haul anyways, so a downsize ain't so bad for camping, road tripping, skiing, climbing, and general dirtbagging between jobs.

Went with the '15 because I wanted a 2nd gen drivetrain.

What I have learned so far, browsing all the content here, is that if I can think of it, it's already a topic here. Sadly, some of the coolest mods with parts and pieces created by folks on this forum no longer appear to be available.

Things I've already got in mind or in the works in loose order of happenings

- Snugtop Hi Liner

- Air pump filter UNI thingy

- LED Interior Lights

- Headlight and reverse light upgrade (with stock wiring)

- Wheels/Tires: Already read it all. Probably going with Cooper AT3 4S in 255/75/R17 on some 4Runner wheels I got for cheap.

- Trutrac diff

- Deaver Stage 1 with Bilstein 5100s and maybe a clamshell bushing upgrade while I'm there

- Temp in Mirror from Bob's

- Katzkins with heat: This one is daunting but the potential savings from ordering here are enticing.

- Low mount front plate bracket?

- Footwell lights

- Color Matched Mirrors with signals and puddle lights: daunting with all the permutations out there. Kinda want to skip the heat and just go stock color matched. Not sure best source for those...

- Things like fog lights/better aux power in the center dash, cup holder pieces (ports are loose, guessing common)

- Bonus things I probably wont do but would be nice: Power rear slider, window tint, dash bezel swap to black, color matched grill surround, etc etc... Magnuson would be so dope, alas...
