    Hey all--
I spent the weekend pulling my CV axles and rebooting them. I bought two oil seals part#9031147026 (41304P in diagram). When I pulled the passenger side though, the seal is completely different. From a previous thread (https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/cv-axle-seal.427102/page-2) this part looks to be #90311-47013. But when I put that part number in the toyota parts site, it comes up as non compatible with my 2015 Tacoma 4.0L M/T 4WD EXTRA CAB. Is the parts diagram wrong? I bought my truck used--does this mean someone swapped out the housing that the passenger side CV axle goes into?
    Thanks!

Here is what I get for a 2015.
No idea why the #s are different for 2015.

One pops into the side shaft of the differential and the other goes into an ADD tube, they are different parts. The part #s for a 2015 will be the same for an 05

    Thanks.
I looked the parts up on Toyota and sure enough, as OP said, they only list the 2005-2014.
They must have forgotten to add 2015.

The actual answer lies in which plant produced the differential itself, as there were different part numbers depending on the supplier. Frequently in cases like that one will be chosen as the prime after-sales supplier and the other will be replaced in the parts supply system. That sometimes happens right away, sometimes happens later while the vehicle is still in production, sometimes after production ends, and sometimes it never does.

The answer is that they're all interchangeable, but here are the actual part numbers and what is supplied by Toyota in North America:

    90311-47010 - RH for 1995-2004 (Replaced by 90311-47013)
    90311-47011 - LH for 1995-2004 (Replaced by 90311-47027)
90311-47012 - LH for all 2005-2010 and early 2011, and some 2011-2013 trucks from April 2011 production (Replaced by 90311-47027)
90311-47013 - RH for all 2005-2010 and early 2011, and some 2011-2013 trucks from April 2011 production
90311-47020 - LH for some 2011-2013 trucks from April 2011 production (Replaced by 90311-47027)
90311-47021 - RH for some 2011-2013 trucks from April 2011 production (Replaced by 90311-47026)
    90311-47026 - RH for all 2014-2023
    90311-47027 - LH for all 2014-2023

So to answer your question, 90311-47026 and 90311-47027 are the correct seals for your 2015 Tacoma, and will fit any Tacoma from 1995-2023.

the snap rings hold the half shaft in the add tube. They aren’t outside the oil seal but that’s just how they drew them.
