Need to get a new clutch ordered up for my 96 2.7. Pretty much decided it will be either a aisin kit or Exedy kit. Anyone recently order one of them and can attest to what bearings they came with? I want Japanese and trying to figure out if I will have to order separate. Leaning towards Exedy as it’s quite a bit cheaper and has metal spring retainers. The aisin kit I need is hard to find right now. I’ve scoured the internet and didn’t find a lot of recent info on the bearings. Thanks

Have you looked at Marlin Crawlers website? They have kits for the Tacoma that are OEM and better.

they have pulled all their clutch kits from the site from what I can tell. I’m assuming supply chain issues?

oh shoot. Could be. I have one for my 98 that I purchased form Marlin crawler. It was a good price and OEM parts as well. Slight upgrade from stock with a more heavy duty clutch pack from what I recall. Ededy does make good clutch kits as well.
