I believe my rear brake line is bad? I did some research here and from other posts I think that's what it is. You can see from the picture where the brake fluid is leaking out. I recently had new wheel bearing replace just last week. Now my brake line is bad possibly? My truck has a lot of miles so maybe it's just a coincidence or could it have been damaged when the repair was being done?

It certainly looks like it's leaking around the flare nut. Start by putting a line wrench on it and seeing if you can tighten it; possible that the mechanic threaded it in, but but neglected to fully tighten it.

Thanks yeah that's the first thing I did was put a wrench on it and seems to be tight.

What jimmyh said! That’s mangled! Take it back to where you had the bearings done and ask them to fix it? Take a look at the opposite side, too.

Agree... if it's tight, back to the shop and have them unfuck it.

    I agree.
A GOOD set of line wrenches is worth every penny.
Do not go cheap here. At a minimum get a set of craftsman.
    I went with MAC…….

And not being afraid to admit it.
My line leaked after I did my axle seal.
I had to go back and “crank down” on the nuts.
If you don’t have a GOOD line wrench you probably won’t get it tight enough, and you’ll end up with nuts looking like yours.

It looks like they stripped out the wheel cylinder, it is somewhat easy to do if your ham-fisted, since the wheel cylinders are made out aluminum. People really crank down on brake line fittings to make sure they don't leak, which doesn't end well with aluminum threads!

^This. Fortunately replacement wheel cylinders are cheap.

If OP can get a wrench to bite.
He has nothing to loose by trying to get it tighter.

The cylinder looks new. In those cases you don’t have to go too tight.
I know that when using the same line and cylinder, I had to get mine “tight”.

I took it back to the shop that did the repair and the brake line threads were stripped and the rear brake cylinder was stripped as well. Both were replaced now it's fine.
