I know I'm late to this thread, but @Shellshock I'm curious why you went from v2 to v3? Looks like you got rid of the regulator. The reg sounded like such a good idea to me, curious why you went away from that?

the main diff is 3/8 vs 1/4 hose - the 1/4 version is a bit more compact

I played around with the regulator for a while but I prefer using the inflator. It's quick and easy for both inflation and deflation. if you go too far, you can easily bleed some off or add a little more.

the regulator seems convenient but is more of a pain imo. deflation is super slow and if you can't really just set it and forget it as you need to adjust for air down and air up pressure. if my compressor was slower, it might be nicer but its only a few minutes for me to air up so there's not really any benefit for me

Sweet thanks for the info, appreciate it! Guessing dropping down to 1/4" didn't seem to affect anything?

Finally rounded up all the parts to complete mine (thanks to Shellshock for main parts and telling me what else to order).
I even found the last connector I needed out in the garage!!

Pro tip: Just permanently mount the compressor under the hood, then run air lines to each bumper. Then the even lengths work out and you don't have to move the compressor around or hook it up/unhook/pack it.
This is my plan, eventually.... I guess I could do this in my spare time if I can move some things around under the hood....

My buddy Ed did this on his 09 (which also had 37s last time I saw it, and since had SASed and 40s I believe)

Anyone run into problems with the clamptite wires cutting into the flexzilla hose over time working it back and forth? Would be easy to rebuild if so just didn’t know if there was an expected lifecycle.

    @Shellshock @tonered or anyone else?

I have only used polyurethane hose that came from both Harbor Freight and Amazon. Never any issues for me.

You just needed enough tension to pull it over the barbs. Typically, I space the clamp wires so that they lay in valleys between the barbs. The wire will be just a bit higher than the surface of the hose.

The other nice part, if you use standard baling wire, is that it will snap on the tool if it is over-tensioned.

I haven’t had any problems. Doesn’t really move and you don’t need to clamp it super tight

Is there a cheaper version of the Flexzilla inflator gauge with the quick release? I can't find anything and would rather not shell out almost $90 on an air gauge.

Built a few kits for folks, all using that same one.

The batteries last forever. I use my two regularly and haven't replaced them yet. 3.5yrs?

Definitely not pulling a lot of power to run these. Plus, the live reading is always appreciated.
