I just had goodyear duratrac with 30k, i don't remember how they were new but after some miles the goodyears are talking to you Loudly on the highway

The coopers, while brand new sound like all season highway tires. I don't notice them till I get over 70mph
I'll know by the time i rotate

Only around 4k miles so far. I don't notice any noise until im over 70 and these are 285s so i definitely don't recommend doing over 65 for long, mpg tanks

For the aggressive tread im surprised, previously had Duratracs and they get noisy as they wear as expected

Currently waiting for a set to arrive. I had Wildpeaks on my last truck and was pretty happy with them. Hopefully these are as good or better.

Cooper is a great tire, I love them.

I don’t have this type, (I have a set of AT34s.) I do more pavement and the added noise and life span on the looks of these would most probably not benefit me. It looks to be great for the off the beaten path travel though.

And I can't wait for some reviews on here.

How did these wind up working for you? They're looking pretty good to me in the stock size, but saw somewhere they might run a little small? Hoping not because even on stock I'm a bit under what my speedo says, so going smaller is less ideal.

Any info you have to share would be appreciated, and don't be shy with details. I'll read a novel on them if you post it. Types of terrain, weather conditions, wear over times, etc. I want it all. :D

I really like them and would buy again. I live in south Florida so not much off-roading but very good in wet conditions which we get a lot of. A little noisy but not so bad that I can’t overlook it. They look fantastic in my opinion and each side of the tire has a different sidewall pattern. I’ve had them on both and I prefer the mountain peaks as opposed to the knife blades. Tire wear has been minimal and I’ve had them for roughly 12k miles. They’re on the lighter side as well which I was looking for because I have a 4cylinder. I believe something like 32lbs each. I’m running stock size for trd off-road trucks.

@50Buck I put a set of 265/70/17's on mine a couple of weeks ago. Got to drive in the rain and some snow since then. In the snow they were better than my Wildpeaks were and in the rain they were as good as or better. In the noise department they are noticeably noisier than the WP's were but those were on a 2015 Ram so maybe truck was just a little better insulated and it had an exhaust on it so that may have drowned out some of the tire noise.

Excellent! Thank you for the info. I'm looking at stock size as well as they aren't super heavy, but I'm concerned with their rough terrain capability. I hate changing tires on the rough roads and was hoping to find out if I had to worry on sharper rocks. The SL rating is only something like a 4 ply, and that gives me pause.

Good info for sure! Thank you, because snow is a thing for me. I had Wildpeak AT3Ws on my Tundra and I loved them. Only thing they weren't excellent at was sloppy mud, but I hate mud anyway. :) Did you ever get them into rougher terrain?

They do, but not in a 16 inch wheel. I specifically got a Pro because I like the wheels and don't want to buy more. Did that on the Tundra and I want to keep the Taco mostly stock.

@50Buck haven't taken it off road at all. Can't see myself on the tight, rocky, tree lined trails around here in an expensive new truck.

Can't blame you for that. Same boat hear, but some of the wider roads and trails are rocky enough that I hesitate with OEM equivalent tires.

The Rugged Treks look great. So I have a new 2023 Limited LB 4x4. I was dead set on the WildPeaks at first. But these look awesome.
My stock tire is 265/60/18 my only dilemma is should go up in size to 265/65/18? Do you think I would suffer a lot more in MPGs by doing this? I know I will take a hit either way.
I am looking for an aggressive look and style and the Coopers look better then the Falkens in my opinion.

You will have a substantial loss of mpg with either of those tires over your lightweight stock highway truck tires. Probably 2-4 mpg.

    I'll answer my own question.
The cooper rep said that both the SL and E rated tires have the same amount of plys but the E uses a larger gauge ply.
Here's my truck after I got the rugged treks installed. 285/70/17 SL

How did the truck drive with the extra weight of the stt pros? Was the trans working more? Did it feel heavy?
