I just watched a Utube about a 2022 Tundra where the truck was described as having 4 levels of permitted wheel spin in 4WD Hi and 4WD Lo. Anyone have any idea why the Tacoma TRDOR and Pro would not also have this capability?

One is a Tacoma and one is a Tundra?

MTS is the old A-Trac with adjustable slip ratio. If you're going fast enough to be in 4Hi, MTS isn't useful.

Also Wait for 4th gen maybe

    Then Tacoma would cost more.

why doesn’t Tacoma have a platinum, 1794 or capstone edition. Or limited with TRD OR package

I hear the argument MTS isn’t useful if going fast. But both trucks have the same Chief Engineer and team of engineers. Their rationale should apply to both. Makes no sense.

So it’s an effort to keep the Tacoma less expensive? Does anyone know if the 4 Runner has any traction control in 4 Hi?

Asking here, is more than likely asking for guesses.

Lol, no, your rationale makes assumptions you know nothing about, not do I.

It's a marketing gimmick that'll probably appear in 4th gen.
