Got P0348 code and Trac-Off Light a few days ago. Truck has been cranking kind of weak for about 2 weeks now. Haven’t had time to check the sensor. Does anyone think the weak battery can trip this kind of code?

solved. Rodent damage to engine wire harness. Repaired twice in January

Highly doubt it. But sounds like you need a battery anyways. You can try that first, and if that doesn't solve. Time for cam position sensor.

Yes a weak battery will do it.

check the freeze frame data if you can and find the value for battery voltage to confirm.

I’ve seen it a few times in my travels. Mostly highlanders but they are 2gr as well.

Cruise doesn’t work either. The trac-off will turn turn off if I go above 30mph. The P0348 shows as pending too. I will buy a battery and see what happens.

I found what look like rodent droppings on top of the engine cover. Hope they didn’t eat my wires.

Ended up being rodent damage to the wire harness. Was $1000 to fix at the dealer. 2 weeks later I get screwed again. 06 codes popped now and my code reader only shows N/A. The truck starts weak now and vibrates. I bought mighty mint and used dryer sheets.

My truck is a 2017. Does anyone think it could be a fuel pump? It cranks strong but the engine fires kind of weak. It will run fine for a few minutes and then chug and the engine vibrates. I was on my way to the dealer right now actually.

I'm confused, defiantly continue on to the dealer and get a proper diagnosis from a real tech.

Ended up being rodents. Twice in 1 months. Almost $2k in repairs. Now I notice my backup camera isn’t switching on.
