bedight and cargo light ???

OK question... do all the 2023 Taco trim levels SR5 and up have a break light / cargo light combo with interior on/off switch? or is that an factory option ?

MY SR5 build doesn't specify this anywhere.

Is it double cab or access cab?

 

It’s a double cab V6 4x4 5 foot bed

 

I recommend underrail bed lights from @mattgecko instead of adding back OE stuff.

 

Three bucks at Menards, double-sided tape on the backside.

 

Now this is off the chain funny!

 

You laugh…but these work well, and I already had them. Unfortunately my 2019 isn’t set up for OEM bedlights.

 

Yea but the funniest part is it actually works!
Sure you gotta swap AAA batteries 17 times a years but the initial investment is cheep and there's NO wiring.

 

This is what I'm saying...you have to be an electrician to get the jist of it.

 

I have yet to put them in my new Taco, but I have had them in my last three trucks. They are stupidly brilliant! (Is that possible?)

 

I got the rear bed lights but they really only work for 30 seconds when you open the cab doors. I installed the Gecko LEDs on the carpeted roof of my Snugtop and ran it to a LED lighted switch thats always lit in the same spot Gecko switch is supposed to install. Couldnt be happier.

 

My 23 didnt have the cargo switch or lights...but i added them
