Where is your camera mounted? Have any pics?

I have strobes mounted in my reverse lights and followed the frame rails all the way back, including getting power to my accessory outlets on my DECKED. I could easily get power to my roof rack in several places on my roof rack depending on where your camera is mounted.

I have not mounted it yet just researching ideas. It will most likely be mounted in the middle of the rear window.

Inside or outside your cap? Inside certainly would make wiring easier but unsure if a dirty rear window would be a problem.

It will be inside for now if the dirty window ends up being a pain I can switch

I don’t think you’d have any problems with the wiring - bring the wire up wherever you brought the third brake light wire into the bed and use some of those sticky zip tie mounts on the rear door of the cap to route the wire for the camera. Let me know if you want some pics of how I brought all the wires into my SmartCap for power, air, etc.

Well after a long time setting up we finally have financing available on our website. Shop pay for 12 months or Affirm at the checkout page for up to 36 months. Rates vary and Affirm has a 0% for 6mo term as well. We should start seeing more caps soon.

I'm wanting to put a battery in the bed of my truck to run my diesel heater, lights and a fridge and i have a lithium 100ah battery that is 14" long 8" wide and 9" tall. Does anyone with the "half bin" or "full bin" know if those dimensions would fit? Any other suggestions of clean mounting solutions for the battery welcome.

Hey guys, waiting on my smartcap now but I was wondering. Any surfers out there?
I have boards between 9-11 ft + a 22ft outrigger canoe (weights 20lbs) that I'd want to transport.

Would you rack them on the smartcap with bars + yakima rack or on the cab roof with some clamp bars + yakima rack.

Anyone who has swapped the gaskets for covers want to get rid of the factory piece that goes behind the latches?

I put the covers from rsi on and want them back off, i open my cap multiple times a day and they are just one more step.

    I can’t find what I did with mine…

My boards are all smaller, but I don’t see any reason why not. What are your concerns? I just bought three 8020 extrusion bars like several others in here and they work great— probably cheaper and lower profile than any other option.

I'm in 845 NY and considering selling my sport for a 5' bed. It's been on since 8/6, has Frontrunner load bars and drop-down table. Nothing wrong with it just might go in a different direction.

Any experience sleeping in one of these? Also any regrets about going with/without windows?
