Looks awesome! Curious what your wheel offset is and if you needed a CMC for your setup?

Thanks! This is good news for the direction I want to go. Did you upgrade your UCAs too?

What kind of life does everyone typically get out of Geolanders in 255? Due to living in eastern Nebraska I put on a lot of highway miles to get into the mountains and western areas so I'm trying to decide if they would be wise or not.

I was hearing a bit when turning under compression on both sides. Before spacers, it was only the passenger side. I did a very minor trim on some plastic behind the tire where the mud flap used to be, and so far it’s gone.
Factory lugs didn’t really poke past the spacers, but even if they did, there’s recesses on the back of the stock OR wheel that could accommodate.

Awesome, thanks for the response. I should have the new tires and alignment tomorrow afternoon and will get some pics next weekend when the rain clears up. I appreciate everyone's responses here.

OK, as promised. I got the 255/85R16 Geolandar G003 M/Ts installed/aligned today. Pics are below. Haven't driven on them enough to develop a real opinion, but I do like the looks and they did seem to ride pretty smooth.

Here’s my ride 255/85/16 geolandars. Figured I’d try here since it’s less busy but anyone here have a negative offset with skinnies (debating between 0 and -10)

I added 1” spacers to the stock OR wheels, which essentially makes them a 0 offset. Gotta trim some plastic.

As I understand it, the TRD Baja Beadlock rims I have are -10 offset. You can see how they look in the post above yours. I don't think they sit any wider than the OR rims (at least by looking at your pics). It's been rainy and nasty this week but I will get out there this weekend at the latest and see how we are looking for rubbing. I think your set up looks pretty good.

According to the below page, the recommended rim width range is from 6.5" - 8". So it seems 8" is in the range, but on the higher end.

A lot of people seem to run 16x8. You can check out thread “255/85r16 Owners Experience” it’s long so you’ll need to search but found a lot of posts with 8”

    • The pics in the subdivision are stock 17in wheels and the stock 265 Toyo A30s with an OME-005 2.5 in Heavy Lift kit. This is just after I finished the job and the truck is sitting 3 inches higher just because the heavy kit hadn't settled.
    • The rest of the pics are with 275/70/17 KO2s on Vision Manx II 17x9 in wheels with +12mm offset. Trailer is sitting on 285/70/17s on the same Manx 2s.
No CMC and no rubbing 99% of the time. The only time I rub is at full stuff with the wheel locked and that rarely happens except for extreme off road situations when I am towing which I tend to avoid.
