I’d been thinking my truck was merely full of pinstripes due to some “slightly scratchy” trails, but after Stoney’s post, I took a closer look. I’ll be damned! It IS full of road salt!

    How in the h...

Not much of a truck...2wd and no skids. o_O

BTW, you were mentioning wanting to get some offroading in to settle your suspension. I might suggest taking 91st a couple of times, Brown Deer south to Good Hope. May not be too bad in the pickup but damn if that road won't rattle your teeth loose in a semi!

    No, it's paved now. :D

Yeah, why must they sell candy in those huge packages?? I find myself eating gummy bears until it hurts.

In my experience, every time you give me advice, I end up giving other people money.

I absolutely know that stretch and hit it at least once a week! It was always hell in my lowered Audi, but the truck takes it quite well. The roads around the business park where our home office is are so torn up and potholed from trucks and plows that my truck gets a nice run every day.

I've been through there many times! My company wired MRS where Kmart used to be, and I did the Brown Deer Library. Oh, and the Walmart remodel which was 3rd shift. o_O

And, way back when, trips to Mars Music and Brown Deer sales to test drive cars for entertainment. Good times!

I was told Menards was the man mall when I first moved here.

    Our Fleet Farm is crap.
My most used phrase when I go to Fleet Farm is, " I should of gone to Menard."
Fleet is convenient, it's close to work

The FleetFarm in Oconomowoc is like Disneyland for me. It's a real toss up between FleetFarm and Total Wine for who should really be called "the happiest place on earth."

But, I have been in a few "FleetFarms" that are just ghetto and disorganized.

Same with Menards. The one near where I used to live was crap.

Okay, need advice/consensus from the collective here. This morning started my truck up and when I put it in drive, it didn't budge. Bewildered, threw it in park, engaged and released my parking brake (which I didn't have engaged), shifted into drive and same result. Tried reverse, same result. Got out, checked the wheels, tires, and undercarriage for maybe debris or anything that could stop me from moving. Nothing. Threw it drive, stepped on the gas pedal to about 1200rpm before a loud metallic "thunk sound" and was able to move. Checked the wheels/tires and undercarriage for anything that out of the ordinary, nothing. No lights on the dash. No weird noises while driving. Operated normally as far as I know. Thoughts on what I should look for or maybe no worries?
