Both of these were making excessive noise when I went in for my 15,000 mile service. I inquired about it and they have ordered new parts to replace them. Anybody else have these two items go bad?? No biggie, just wondering.

Did you check you cabin filter for an unwanted visitor? It was a big issue on 2nd Gen that mice can get into the cabin air inlet and build a nest on the cabin filter. If they chew through the filter then acorns and stuff will into the fan hence noise. Don’t know if they fixed that on 3rD Gen.

how were the center caps on the wheels making noise - were they loose and rattling? the dealer or tire shop broke my center caps. the tire shop stepped up and bought me four new ones however, after seeing how fragile they are i left them off.

i have not had any issues with the heater fan.

I had one that made noise. Metal snap ring wasn't seated/installed correctly from factory.

If you have discontinued UK-made TRD Beadlocks, the new USA-made TACO alloy beadlocks, or the TRD Rock Warrior wheels, the rings can loosen and will rattle.

I've had heater fan noises in a bunch of cars over the years and every time it's been caused by mice. Amazing how much damage those little critters can do.

They are extremely loose and make a racket just in the driveway and I'm not even on the street yet. Still waiting on the parts to come in

Dealer checked it out and said it sounds like a bearing. Still waiting on replacement parts to come in, but it's getting worse in the meantime

It's so loose just be backing out of the driveway it's a racket. When you touch them, they're so loose it won't be long and they'll be on the side of the road

Some techs intentionally cut a tab off to make them install easier on the sport.

I've seen it many times from other shitty dealers.

If you pop it off you'll likely find the same.

The sport has dumb caps that are difficult to install, but its not bad enough to warrant damaging a customers cap over it.

My blower started making noise recently, dealer blew me off when I mentioned it during first service. I've removed it and checked for trash and clearances. Nothing seems to be rubbing. I need to pull the cage off of the motor to get a better listen, it's too noisy when removed from the glove box to hear it. I've seen a lot of posts that the OEM one is simply trash. I'll probably just get an aftermarket to replace it with.
