Acts like a frozen parking brake, except you said you didn't use it :smack:

Always use it. Engage it before letting off the service brake when you park.

As for everything else.... Mileage? When's the last time you had your fluid swapped out?

Do you park it outside, or garaged? When was the last time you drove it?

When you gave trottle, was there engine load (did feel like it was straining against a brake)? Or did it rev up as if it were in neutral?

Uncovered outside. Definitely engine load, not just revving.

Did you go through a car wash the night before or wet roads? Water gets in the brakes (not just parking brake) and freezes them up. I've had that happen a few times where I had to give it some gas while slipping the clutch. There was a pop and off I went.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
Probably frozen brakes, most likely drums. A little condensation on them and they'll freeze solid.

Sounds like it. I have an old tribute parked outside. Sometimes it’s parked a week between drives. If it rains, they’ll often stick pretty good. Boot-full of gas, clutch out qiuck, and it breaks free. Hate when that happens since it sounds like I’m breaking an axle, but it is what it is.

There's a 2 story Menards in Waukesha, also. Sometimes there's a piano guy. Incidentally, I helped wire that store, also. I hung over 700 4' fluorescent lights at that place.

Oops, this was supposed to be attached to my previous post.

Yeah , it definitely doesn't seem like the right venue or a piano guy.

    @rubbersidedown -

Sometimes I have to go there just for a couple of things, and I end up being there for like 2 hours.

My wife doesn't like it when I go to Farm & Fleet. She's quite frugal. I'm less so...

L and M pissed me off with a return. Haven't been in there for two years... stubborn that way (my wife says).

Thanks for piece of mind, guys. That sound of something busting makes a guy nervous.

Since I have no repairs to spend money on, buy mods maybe?

It really steps up the classiness. Pure class.

When shopping for plumbing fixtures, hearing Sam tickling those keys in the background makes you think “maybe I should finally treat myself to faucets in the luxurious polished brass finish”

I've never been, but I believe it's like a Tractor Supply. Smaller versions of Farm & Fleet?
