It's only really noticable at about 45-55mph cruising. Not enough road or engine noise to cover it. 1st gear is even louder than the general high range transfer case gearset on the 93-94 LCs cause it's actually straight cut. Sounds like supercharger whine when I take off.

Key word there, no disrespect to @Ozark_RegCab but you're much more capable than most people

No leaking from it but I did replace the fluid when I got it.

I haven't tested the VC but have none of the effects of a bad one; center diff lock works as intended too.

You're too kind. I enlisted the help of a buff friend to get the case mated back to the trans cause the trans jack was super awkward to balance it on and I can't keep 105lb above my face with one hand while the other puts bolts in. Def a two man job at least.

With this Chinese spy balloon over Montana news a page I follow posted Bloons Tower Defense screenshots captioned “live from Montana”.

    This has made my day.

They're probably just gonna park the balloon over Yellowstone so they don't have to keep sending completely clogged tour busses there.

So this showed up out of the blue un-announced. I had considered the matter closed a month ago.

Someone point out the trimpacker for me please... nice that they labeled it as driver side but I do not see the trimpacker lol

I have a spare trim packer if you want to get them assembled at a local shop with it.

That's like the difference of nature vs nurture... except it's physically able vs physically capable

Thanks, the trim packer was the one thing that was delivered originally lol.

Nope. Just decided to put it off since I hadn't ordered a winch yet. 881s seem to be fine. Not to say I won't go that route, up in the air. I'm actually feeling a bit of burnout with truck related projects. I wanted to re-do the bed and put together a drawer system next but I've been distracted lately with home arcade machines.

@Ozark_RegCab Have you noticed how TTA seems to miss out on all of the off-road podcasters, forever youtube story channels about self-entertainment, and much of the local spam? They seem to ignore us and I'm glad that it worked out that way.

    @Ozark_RegCab

Do you plan on keeping the Taco and adding to the stable or selling it and getting something altogether different?

Sounds like a Looney Tunes episode

"The senior defense official said on Thursday that if the risk level changes, the US “will have options to deal with this balloon."

I thought about it and I really don't think having two cars is a good idea for me rn. Also the gf wouldn't be happy. I'm thinking of putting it up for sale after I get the knock sensors fixed. Then I'd sell the other parts and keep an eye out for another 80 series.

I'm thinking a GX470 or 100 series might be better value for money nowadays though, and maybe better for daily driving.

This might be a really dumb question but what's TTA exactly?
