I have a 1st gen v6 and its my first car but recently my head gasket cracked and pumped coolant into my 6th cylinder hydro locking my engine, I'm looking for a replacement engine and wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions on where to find engines around the San Diego area. I'm only 17 so suggestions that are price friendly are welcomed and I'm really just looking for any information to get the ball rolling.

    Welcome to the Forum.

Interesting the coolant was not pushed out through the exhaust like most head gasket failures .

Your sure the engine did not stop just from getting to hot??

Have you pulled the engine apart and inspected things?

Unless you have a big hole in the block from a broken rod.
