Cold one here today. 10 degrees now, will be 8 at daybreak, only going to 12 today. Windchills below zero. But it looks like we finally get a warm up to the 30s next week. These are the kind of days you hope your truck stays running.

I remember fixing trailer lights to not get a ticket at a scale in Minnesota .

About -12 F and sunny no wind .

Get back home write up the trailer my temp repair still worked so nothing was looked at.

One big mess of wires twisted and spliced with just electrical tape next winter chemicals back to fixing .

This was just when sealed lights were starting to be seen. Late seventies .

 

Naw, staying home. Might go to the coast and/or visit mom.

 

Nothing like a charcoal fire in a metal pan on a cold frosty morning under the oil pan.

To warm things up about 45 minutes She started right up.

Talk about smoke!!

 

Nope no work today! Slept in, and lying in bed with a couple of my kitties having coffee. Life is good right now, I really needed the rest. I'm going shopping for a new motorcycle helmet today to go with my new motorcycle. Not thinking about trucking at all, lol.

 

Just how it should be on days off

 

Well it's Monday, back to work after a much needed weekend off. 6 days this week for me as it's my turn to work Saturday. But at least the weather is warming up here, 30s today then 40s the rest of the week. Be nice to melt all the snow off.

Last I looked we hit 54!

 

Man I'm tired already and it's only humpday, 3 to go. But at least the weather is nice, driving with the window down is awesome.

 

Rain all day and then high winds to go with the rain. But it will be warm. Just makes for poor visibility.
But at least it'll wash the salt away! Getting closer to getting that new bike home, lol.
