Good morning everyone. This is my first post, but I’ve been lurking around the forum since I bought my 23’ SR back in November.

I’m looking to purchase a set of used AT tires for my truck. I have a piece of remote land up in northern Michigan and would toss these on the truck when headed up to the property.

I was hoping to get y’all’s opinion on these Wrangler Duratracs I found on marketplace. The owner said he has put about 20k on the tires. Can anyone who’s ran Duratracs comment on how much life these things have left in them? The seller doesn’t have a tire gauge to give me an exact measurement.

    Thanks in advance!

What’s the price? What’s the load rating of them?

    The tires are 265/75/R16 - 112/109Q C. He's asking 475 but I was going to offer $450.

The Goodyear Duratrac LT265/75R-16/C 112Q retails for $249ea brand new, so the price is good. 40-50k at best for life expectancy so half worn. Just be mindful of the born on date, DOT's make sure the tires are not that old. Discount Tire recommends replacement of tires at 6yrs and wont service tires at 10yrs. Hope this helps.

    Caveat Emptor:

I had Duratrac 265/75/16 in C also I got rid of them at 25K because the noise got so unbearable. The noise got really bad after 20K. Full disclosure, I do have 16x8.5 wheels, so they did stick out a little bit and I am sure that didn't help. I sold mine on the way home from getting new tires at discount, guys at the gas station asked if they were for sale, I said $250, and we settled on $200. Good Luck

Thanks a lot for the responses, I appreciate all the insight. I offered the guy 400 and he accepted, so at the price I think I’m going to try them. I’ll report back how they work out.

Maybe its because I am closer to Mexico where everything is negotiable and/or a bargain. I would have offered $250. They are capable tires and look awesome, I am sure you make good use of them. Good luck. post pics when they are on your truck.

Make sure you rotate them every 3k-5k miles, duratracs are prone to cupping if you go too long without rotating. I got 50k out of my last set. They will serve you well. Best AT tires I have used in the snow. Great traction on slush and packed snow and exceptional performance in fresh deep snow!
