I'm looking at a 2000 SR5 3.4L with a blown motor. I see a few discussion about the motors from JDM.
Does anyone have a ballpark cost for a replacement motor and cost of installation?

    Thanks

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
Being California $5000.00 would seem to be in the ball park

I would inspect this truck very close. I have looked at Blown Engine vehicles that had clueless sellers .

Where told by a shop they needed an engine. One was a failed starter . One leaking valve covers another had failed clutch hydraulics.

They were all convinced or talked into the engines had failed.

Holes in the oil pan or block might be a clue to engine failure.
