    Thanks, It sleeps 2.

DV is slowly coming back to life but the back to back rain storms are slowing recovery efforts. Rangers are saying Titus canyon won't be open til the end of the season. Uebehebe is closed, along with racetrack, tea kettle and moving rocks. Lippincott is open from the bottom up but not recommended.
West Side road was open but had LOTS of flooded sections, passable and not deep, just flooded.

Where were you planning on going? We always go to DV and hit ALOT of the trails and the touristy stops also, Dantes view, zabriske, 20 mule team, Hole in the wall, (all those are open by the way).

We usually go with about 4-5 trucks and go the route that was listed. If other areas are still open then it may still be worth it.

Goler wash, Barker ranch, Mengel pass, Geologist cabin, Striped butte and Warm Springs canyon are open and accessible for 4x4 High clearance.
We did not check on or try Darwin Falls. Hope this helps all.

Had potential used RSI Smartcap lined up to purchase but buyer flaked because he found someone willing to pay his asking price, but a few days later he told me that the buyer flaked and had offered to sell me the camper again at the price we had agreed on. I decided not to support this buyer because he flaked on me the same morning I was supposed to drive 4 hours to pick it up.

Visited a local topper shop today and wife put a deposit down on a new Leer 100xr for us! Can't wait to camp again!

Awesome experience in the Mojave Preserve recently. Wasn't a total surprise based on the drive in

Couldn't wait to get up in the morning and check out the scene

    Pretty amazing

I spent a couple hours just walking around soaking it in. Snow on a cholla cactus isn't something you see every day

I know this thread is for photos, but since everyone is here for the same reason, I want to ask if anyone has installed bed stiffeners after buying a topper and if it makes any difference with or without?

I crossed the Mojave Road, east to west, a few winters ago but it didn't snow. What an amazing thing to see! Thanks for sharing

Beautiful dogs. Also a little intimidating RE their stare - would make me think twice before approaching.

I think most added bed stiffeners in anticipation of their topper. If you plan on putting say a RSO SmartCap and nothing else, you’ve only added 180 or so pounds. Add gear to the internal Molle panels of the gull wings of the No window version, add a rooftop tent or additional storage boxes, Jerry cans, a spare etc. and you will notice some out of square angles between your bedsides and the bed floor. Preventative measures pay dividends by taking some of the load off your bedside mounting points.

I can't tell a difference. One extra spot for a tie down though. I don't think you are supposed to see an immediate impact. This mod is supposed to aid against long term wear and tear...

100% agreed! The extra tie down points are a bonus.

So much so that I installed ATH Fab stiffeners at the front bed corners.

Lousy photo, but not much else to see really. Mirror image of what does show.
(I'm away from the truck, so better photos will have to wait.)
Quite pleased with the extra anchor points and peace of mind bed integrity!

(I've cleaned the cable routing up so they don't look like I was on drugs when I installed them, anymore.)
