It looks awesome. And now I'm tempted to do the same thing when my 5100s come in. Thanks!

Don't even think about not doing the ECGS bushing. It's a must do while you right there IMO. Buy(or borrow) the bushing, puller and insertion tool. Then you can sell the two tools when your done and it should cost you less than $100 after selling the two tools(if your doing it yourself).

I think you need to ask yourself why you need a lift in the first place. These trucks are pretty capable stock, unless you plan some serious off roading than normally. As a buddy of mine found out, the higher the lift the more problems after.

I agree about these trucks being plenty capable in stock form. Ironically, I have a real appreciation for stock vehicles. But I also enjoy taking a vehicle and making it my own. I was really drawn to the 2021 4runner wheels which led me to the 265/70r17 tires and I told myself if they rub on the OEM mudgaurds then I'd do a mild lift(which I kind of wanted to do anyway). I'm very happy with the 1.5" lift which puts the lift equal to the TRD Pro and less that Toyotas own Trail Edition. I did the ECGS bushing while I had it apart and have zero regrets about the mild lift. I completed it earlier this week. ;)

Question for the group. I have the TRD Bilsteins basically 5100s made specifically for the TRD Lift kit. They only come with the 1”,1.5” and 2” notches. Would anyone see any problems if I mixed the 1” setting with some mild Dobinsons coils (C59-238) for an all around 1.4” ish front end lift? Would a slightly longer coil to a 1” setting require other components to be switched out? Looking for an all around better ride over the stock SR suspension.

I think many would agree that TRD shocks (or 5100's) alone will be a substantial improvement over SR suspension. I found 5100's to be a substantial improvement over my TRD OR shocks on my '23 TRD OR.

Bilsteins 5100s on the top setting, 4runner Gray TRD Pro Sema wheels, 285/70/17 Toyo AT3s, Sumo Bump stops, TRD exhaust, ECGS Clamshell bushing, 1/4 shim for the lean and one inch rear block, OEM Pro grill and garnish OEM TRD Skid plate, TRD CAI, Demon Brackets, Rigid Industries Pro fog lights, OEM Trail Rails sidebars, Diode Dynamics LED SL1 high and low beam lights, OEM Roof racks, Clazzio leather heated seats, Remote Start, TRD Pro shift knob, tinted windows, Rockford Fosgate 4 channel amp for the headunit and sub and amp combo, OEM Puddle lights, OEM tailgate lock, OEM bed mat, LED interior lights, OEM blackout kit for letters, JLT catch can, upgraded 27F toyota True Start battery, Vleds led tail light kit with Pro tail lights, OEM Rave4 side mirrors with convex spotters, just to name a few mods.
I would keep the factory coils as that is what I did when my 5100s were installed. Bilstein recommends using the factory coils. Aftermarket coils may hurt the ride or sag like other coils.

To the guys lifting the rear 1/2" are you using blocks? If so what blocks are you using? I'm thinking about ordering the 1/2" block that comes on the TRD Pro P/N: PT82A-35220-SS with 6112's pre-assembled from Shock Surplus set at 1.5" for the front.

I just tried to order the 1/2” block from BAM and unfortunately they are currently out. Where have folks been getting them or does anyone have a pair they’d like to sell?

I just ordered through my local dealer. No hiccups, they had them in a couple days and was only like $16 for the pair.

I like how you did that with jacks - GENIUS!
Been wanting a little lift and not too sure how much to get before it becomes uncomfortable to get in and out of. Great way to try it out and see. Thank you!

FYI, according to BAM and my local Toyota dealer, the 1/2" blocks PT82A-35220-SS, are on nationwide back order.
