i love my yearly refund, but i suppose everyones return looks a bit different

 

If i get any money back it's going straight into paying off debt, with a little bit set aside for some track days.

So, I figured out why my center stand was wobbly lol

 

Operator error?

 

I'm not sure how the bolt backed out, I used loctite on all the bolts.

I'll put a longer bolt through and put a lock nut on the other side tomorrow.

What GPS did you buy again? Are you liking it? I've got a buddy that just bought a Rally are we're talking about doing the Lake Hill Loop of the TAT this summer.

 

I got the Garmin Zumo XT. I haven't used it yet, just mounted and loaded some gpx files.

It was $$ but works with gloves, waterproof, and looks good so far!

I've been watching TAT videos too. But mostly because im itching to ride. Currently its 22. Next week looks better in terms of temps. (Looks like the groundhog was wrong yet again)

 

Not as bad as the Montana 700i Itchyboots uses

ADVrider had an article the other day about an alibaba add-on wireless carplay screen. Had me looking at my handlebars that afternoon seeing if there was anywhere that wouldn’t annoy the hell out of me I could mount it.

I gotta check to see if i can do wireless car play. That would help. But man, my phone has to connect to so many things. I just use car play to listen to music. The Zumo can stream music too. But i dont have any saved music.

Side note, the Cardo Freecom 4x that I ordered yesterday should be delivered today. So thats fun.

Hopefully i can sell my Sena 20S Evo and then i wont be out that much $. Anyone interested? I have the box and all of the mic stuff too

 

I gotta admit, I would like to have my phone or wireless CarPlay on a screen as well as a stand-alone GPS unit…

I hadn't seen that article. Really makes me want to try one at that cost.

 

I've had the Garmin Zumo XT for about 2 years now and love it. Much brighter screen than my old Zumo 660. Wi-Fi updates make it easier to keep updated. Haven't used it to stream music because I don't have it bluetoothed to my Sena. Tried that in the past with the 660 and ran into an issue. If my g/f was on the back and we were using the intercom function the turn by turn voice prompts would cut in but only I could hear them. This left situations where she would be asking me about something and I wouldn't reply. Found it easier to just not have it tell me the turns, I just keep an eye on it when I know we're turning soon.

 

I meant ordering from the website. If that unit was sold on Amazon, it would already be in my cart. Haha.
